108th Summer Fair on August 6 Celebrates Community
A huge thank you to all the volunteers who helped make the 2025 Summer Fair a remarkable success. You helped donate, set up, prepare, bake, shop, sell, buy, and clean up. You put in long hours on hot days. You did it with all your heart.
Steve’s sermon on August 3, “The Treasure Hunt,” reminded us that the Fair is a time to build our friendships and renew community commitments. It’s a time to embrace our acceptance of differences, find commonalities and then set an example of how people of all ages join together to raise money to support local nonprofit agencies who reach out to those in need.
After we close the financial books on the Fair in September, we’ll turn to decisions about beneficiaries – social service agencies in the Monadnock area who assist people with food, fuel, housing, physical and mental health issues, education, addiction treatment, and emergency services, along with scholarships. Watch for updates!
